Downloadable Documents

All Elephango content guidelines and requirements apply to downloadable documents.

  • What is a downloadable document?

It is all in the name: a document you create that is attached to your content for students to download and use.

Content should be included within the lesson as much as possible. (Check out H5P Interactives.) However, there are some instances when a takeaway document is beneficial.

〉    practice worksheets or timed quizzes (answer keys required)
〉    excerpts from literature (Direct Quotations and Passages)
〉    experiment steps and result data
〉    cut and paste or coloring activities
〉    graphic organizers
〉    graph or writing paper
〉    craft templates

All Elephango documents are PDFs formatted as follows.

〉   The font must be Trebuchet MS.
〉   The document title must be in 20 pt font and left justified.
〉   All font should be black except for the answer on an answer key, which should be red.
〉   Pixel size outside the title may vary as appropriate.
〉   Extra space at the bottom to allow for the self-generating logo footer.
〉   Portrait and landscape orientations are acceptable.

Every effort should be made to create a PDF following these format rules.

You may use any preferred software (InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word). If you cannot create the document exactly as you envision, leave a detailed edit request in the Lesson Notes, and the design team will assist.

Follow our Uploads instructions to share these documents properly.

Reference the document you create in your content and instruct the student on using it properly. You must include the document’s title in italics and the following phrase, including the bold text: found under Downloadable Resources in the right-hand sidebar.

If you reference the document again, the title must always be italicized, but you do not need to repeat where it is located.

NOTE: You attest that the entire document is original, and no part is covered under copyright law. You are, at this moment, releasing ownership of this document to Edovate Learning Corp.

NOTE: Writers strive to comply with these guidelines.
Editors must comply.
