Contract

You will be sent an email with an Adobe contract attached. Please follow all directions to complete, sign, and return the contract.

Compensation

You are responsible for creating and submitting your own invoices. If you do not have an invoice template, consider using one of the free Contractor invoice templates available on Canva.

  1. You will receive an email inviting you to create a free bill.com account. Follow the directions to set up your account and ACH payment.
  1. Submit your invoices for the previous month’s work to your Elephango point of contact at the beginning of each new month. (Elaine Lewis for writers, and Andrea Castle for editors.)
    Example: For work completed in July, submit an invoice dated 7/31/2024 that includes all approved work for that month.
  1. Once your invoice is approved, it will be submitted to bill.com and processed for payment. Payments are processed at the beginning of each month and deposited directly into your account.
  1. You should receive payment by the second week of the month.

IMPORTANT: Payment will only be issued if your work meets all requirements.
